Neck Pain

Chronic neck pain is all too common. The neck itself is a complex region of the body stabilized by many muscles, tendons, and ligaments. When one of these soft tissues, the spine, or nerves becomes jeopardized, neck pain can very quickly become a painful issue. Neck pain often involves radiating pain or pain that inhibits full range of motion. 

Oftentimes when patients mention neck pain, they are referring to their cervical spine which consists of the vertebrae C1-C7. The pain can be originating from many different places: muscle inflammation, disc herniation, vertebral injury, etc. Neck pain can also be caused by arthritis, neck trauma, whiplash, etc. When you come in for an appointment, we will thoroughly assess your medical history in order to fully understand the root cause of your neck pain.
