Eastern Regional Pain Specialists sees patients by physician referral only. You cannot book an appointment with us directly — but getting started is straightforward, and this page explains exactly how.
How to become a patient
Ask your doctor’s office to send a referral to Eastern Regional Pain Specialists. Your physician can use our referral form. Once we receive it, a member of our staff will call you to schedule your first appointment.
If you have questions before then, call us at (919) 751-8444. Our office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What your first appointment involves
Our goal is to give you a one-on-one, informative consultation. All initial consultations are scheduled with our nurse practitioner or physician assistant. During your visit you will discuss your history in detail and can ask any questions you have about the treatment options available to you.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
What to bring
- Your completed new patient form
- Your insurance card
- Photo ID
- All medication you are currently taking
- Your copay — we accept cash, check, MasterCard and Visa
Your insurance copay is due at the time of check-in.
